We provide news and resources for the students of Little Miami High School to create and reinforce good habits and embrace the LM Spirit.

At The Little Miami Tribune, we have three goals. First, to inform students of local news, helpful life advice tips and other topics in a reader-friendly way. Second, to inspire students to be the best version of themselves. Third, we want to ignite conversation about the topics and events that our writers will be publishing. This will build a sense of community among new and older students, giving them a topic that they can all mutually engage on without any social gaps.

However, the LM Tribune will not only benefit the students reading it. It will also benefit the writers and those involved with its creation. The LM Tribune will teach students writing and reporting skills, as well as build their confidence in speaking, doing interviews and writing topics they're interested about. Furthermore, the LM Tribune’s writers will also learn how to collaborate with one another, by revising each others’ work and giving constructive criticism. Also, writers will learn how to research effectively and safely. For one, writers will be taught to find the truth in biased sources, using this "truth" in their own articles. Finally, Tribune members will also learn how to link their sources and cite them properly in each article.

Another thing the LM Tribune will teach its members is responsibility. Running a newspaper is no easy task. Newsletters have to hit daily deadlines all the time. The LM Tribune will have a weekly or biweekly deadline, depending on the topic of the article, that students will have to meet. This will result in a stronger sense of academic responsibility.

The LM Tribune will also teach students good ethical behavior. Plagiarism will not be tolerated, and honesty is of the utmost importance. The LM Tribune will also advocate for inclusion and different points of view. This will ensure that each writer learns the rights and wrongs of reporting trustworthy and spotless articles.

Finally, the LM Tribune will report on a multitude of topics, all of which strive to show the school in a positive light. Some of the topics we will be reporting on are as follows: LM Sports, LM Events, Advice for Students Regarding Their Academics, Advice for Students Regarding their Personal Lives/Mental Health, and other stimulating academic topics that are written in a student-friendly manner.
